First The Story: A girl and guy were speeding over 100 mph on the road on a motorcycle... Girl: Slow down, I'm scared. Guy: No, this is fun. Girl: No it's not. Please it's too scary! Guy: Then tell me you love me. Girl: Fine I love you. Slow down! Guy: Now give me a BIG hug. Girl hugs him Guy: Can you take my helmet off and put it on yourself? It's bugging me. (in the paper the next day): A motorcycle had crashed into a building because of brake failure. Two people were on it, but only 1 had survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized that his brakes broke, but he didn't want to let the girl know. Instead, he had her say she loved him and felt her hug one last time, then he had her wear his helmet so that she would live even though it meant that he would die. If u love any one this much...let them know...before its too late... I love you 4 ever.....and always 2 the end....i cant live without ya.....b-cuz ur my friend..... Send this to 10 ppl in the next 5 min....and....u will get kissed on friday by the love of your life.... DONT BREAK THIS 2morow will be the best day of your life.

actually to get technical.... I believe ALL motorcycles are manual, which means you could downshift and slow the bike down enough to almost stop.... Also Doesn't a bike have two sets of brakes? front (left hand) back (right hand) is this correct?

Some bikes use hydraulic brakes and a small master cylinder but I can't imagine front and rear as separate systems. All of mine were separate and mechanical and operators choice as to how to apply them. T

Good for those endless streams of sentimental emails your buddies annoy you with, but totally fake. How do I know? 1: If he loved her, why was HE the only one wearing a helmet in the first place? 2: Virtually every motorcycle has independent front and rear brakes.. if one went out you have the other.. not to mention that a couple throttle-less downshift would help slow the bike quite a bit. 3: If he thought he was about to crash, he wouldn't have time to get her to put on the helmet. 4: Have you ever ridden a bike at 100mph? Even with a helmet talking to the passenger would be extremely difficult... if she wasn't wearing one it is downright impossible... wind noise over your head at that speed is just a roar.. she wouldn't have been able to hear him is he was screaming at the top of his lungs. If you don't believe me stick your head out the window of your car at 100mph and see if you can hear your front seat passenger... on second thought, DON'T.. I don't want you to be decapitated by a road sign or something.

yes all motorcycles have 2 sets of brakes but the rear brake is normaly a drum brake with a solid linkege running to a foot brake pedal and these normally siez up do to the back end taking most wear and tear from road salt, water, ect. and the front brake is a hydrolic hand brake witch could fail on the road. and if you were giong 100mph and tried to downshift you would probly stop the back tire to fast and break it loose in turn laying the bike down. but it is definenty plausible
