1995 Mirror Replacement Tools

I have a 1995 gmc sierra 1500 my problem is that the mirror was broken off by a 18 wheeler driving by anyways after guetting a new mirror and taking the plate that covers the 3 nuts i am not able to fit a socket in there i tried many adjustment or a wrench but they are hard to get too and turn as they been on there since the factory. What is the easiest way to get to them i have droped wrenches in my door and had to take my door panel off

That is usually a very simple thing to do using a 1/4" drive socket (usually 10mm) with an extension. It doesn't matter how long they have been on. They are not exposed to weather. They can easily be just broken off with a twist of the wrist.

thx, also broken back window if i can salvage the weather strip around the window do you recommend reusing or buying a new one? if so where?

I don't recommend you attempting that job at all. That is a job for a glass company.

It depends on what style it is....If it's siliconed in then it really would be best to have a shop install it....
If it is the rubber seal type, you just get a real small gauge wire or guitar string, some silicone spray, go to one corner & with a small pick or something, get the wire thru to the inside, have a helper hold the wire, lube the seal with some spray & just start pulling in one direction while also pushing the window. They actually pop out pretty easy.
If the seal is cracked or torn it should be replaced other than that it can be reused.

I would have to side with HT on this one. One woops turns the job into a AW SH__ __ job . Any money you might have saved will go for new glass ,then paying the pro to do it right. It may be a walk in the park for you sidom , but your a bit ahead of the knowledge curve.

o btw with that mirror that extension only worked for one wich wasn't my problem, now imagine a triangle 5" one side 5" another and 7"another and 4" deep of room to play with. The nut that is hard to get to is 3" left of the hole so a straight extension wont lock on it, wrench cant hook from the angle and even if it did barely any room to move the wrench. looked for any other access whole but nothing eventually. I sorta fix the problem. I took the easy one off, then the other i was able to do with a flexible extension wich totally broke the bolt wich was fine with me because it was enough to pull it out (brain fart for the name) but was pulling my hair off for the last nut so i took to my friends car dealership (used euro cars specialize in Audi's not trucks) after using several tools we went to the sledgehammer and hit the hell out of it till it broke got stuck in the hole, so when putting the new one on it only has 2 bolts holding it, looks flush doesn't move so i am happy.
