2002 Explorer 4.6 e gone swap

Would a Crown Victoria 4.6 engine work in this Explorer if we swap out the accessories also?
Local scrapyards do not have the Explorer but do have the Crown Vic.

You've asked before what would swap which is info Salvage yards routinely do and have the best access to info on. Have VIN#s ready and find a good "junk yard" place that can give you info on what crosses over by model and model year(s) too.
The 4.6 has been used in many different models by Ford - Crown Vic then the Police Version, Grand Marquis, the Mustang and HO Mustang, the whole truck (vans, pickups, Explorer and more and also the Town Car.
By your model year EVERYTHING matters about it. You should be able to get a full history of donor engine complete with compression test results and miles on vehicle it came from. Sorry but you may have to actually call one with your VIN# and ask what they have or can get at what prices.

Personally I like to go to local yards and see the vehicle it came out of WHY it's in a salvage yard at all first too,
