My truck will lose pressure but if I cut the engine and restart it it's fine again. What I'd like some advice on could this be an electrical issue or is my sending unit going bad? It's a 2005 Dodge Ram slt 5.7 v8

The right way to diagnose that would be to take a manual, mechanical pressure reading and monitor it while driving. Being that is a pain to do, the shortcut is to just change the sender and see what happens. They are not expensive. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
