2005 Silverado-Trailer running lights not working

2005 Silverado-Trailer running lights not working

I have a Chevy Silverado 1500 HD and am finding that the running lights do not work on 2 different trailers I've hooked on to. All lights are working correctly on the truck, and the brake and signal lights work on the trailer; it's only the running lights that are not working on the trailer. I've went through all the fuses under the hood and the drivers side panel and they all good. Any ideas what else I can try? Thanks for the help!!

? Many, most or all Chev trucks anyway come with a harness for at least basic trailers but there are several possible ones and you get an adaptor to match trailer wiring.
If just 4 wire plug those are pretty standard and you should be able to just see the power with a test light at the plug or not. If adapted check both truck and adaptor. If huge trailers w electric brakes and extras you need to follow exact instructions on what to do,

I default to there are just so many variables you have to know specifics for your vehicle and your trailer. About all that seems standard is a brown wire is for running lights and white a ground - perhaps green for turn as well as yellow.
Some vehicles have amber turn signals some don't even same vehicle but it was required for where it was sold so what you need is as already said is a proper adaptor or plain test the missing power that it's available at truck's wiring.
Quick look shows most 7 pin connectors allow for a back up light on the trailer as well. I couldn't guess what features you need for what. Sample pic.......

It's possible that if missing lighting is drawing a lot of current that it's excessive or grounding isn't adequate??
One excellent resource for trailer wiring is the U-Haul company and it's dealers. IDK you mentioned two trailers so may need two adaptors?
For now a simple test light to see what lights it for what would help,

You need to test the fuses using a test light with the key and lights on. That truck uses separate fuses for the trailer power.
