2021 Toyota Tacoma sr5 Rear axel

Was wondering if I can use a right rear axel shaft, that I have, on the left side instead of having to go buy a new left axel shaft?

Why aren't you asking the parts people (dealer) if they are the same part number?
I'd be very curious why you would already need an axle shaft on a 2021 truck especially a Toyota.

Thanks for the suggestion. Got a totaled Tacoma. Left axel bent back by 5 degrees, rim destroyed

What's actually bent, the axle shaft or the whole differential housing?
If it's the axle shaft that is bent it won't be bent back. It will wobble when turning.
If the wheel is angled back continuously, you have a problem with the housing or the supporting arms.

? Viney - as Hammer Time said you'll need to know it's just the shaft you need or housing also as a whole.
Quick look the ones with 6 studs for wheel are the same, left or right for going on 20 model years!
Check + verify all info for sale everywhere $400-$600 shafts alone was shocked it's common? IDK, check part #42311-04060 being new or used for leaks or damage apparently these get a beating out there off roading etc.
If you are in New England and need whole housing, all parts include up-state NY if you go get it to save wild shipping costs AYOR used for this stuff appears like shaft is also the race for outer bearing?? If N.G. it's no good or use at all.
Happy hunting or use the left right one you have or so it seemed you already had one??

PS: Note spelling with searching "Axle" or whole "Differential" Axel is another word to mess you up!

That part number only fits manual trans and Auto trans with Off road TRD pro.
The auto trans without Off road TRD pro takes a different axle.
If it's a 2.7 engine all the auto trans take a different part number.
