How is the car overall? Are you going to fix it or send it all out? Probably more than one valve and unknown other possible damage but if you send out whole heads to get an idea of extent may help decide.

Ask a salvage yard anyway what might be available and how well the exact proper replacement has been checked out or known about one. If nothing but it was out of a running vehicle I think it's too old for used unless well known info on it.

Costs vs another car is always going to be up to you. Try to know the costs,

"Couple Hundred - doubt it" If you just want a yard vehicle I'd just bare bottom fix that one or another just like it that does run now and keep the best parts of each.

Check on some custom truck sites and parts for the standby Chev 350 for parts already to bolt one in. Not my game but there are lots of total custom things/vehicles of all sorts that choose that for a power plant. Consider costs of trans as no chance a Nissan will bolt up and then driveshaft special made.

All custom costs would exceed another whole truck still running for a yard vehicle IMO - that and a V8 for a yard machine is probably wild overkill + weight of just engine/trans may mess it all up being all up front?

Sure, and that entire operating system engineered for the Nissan engine will just match right up with a Chevy. That swapping a 6 for a 8 should go well also..................... sarcasm, of course.

LOL - Was just thinking of this as just a frame to work with and forget the whole truck except a seat and steering wheel? Yard vehicle, put a manure spreader on back or what?

No clue what but not from a Nissan...........

Close as I could find for "rolling eyes"
