Trucks often carry heavy loads for long distance. How long should a truck driver take before considering changing the tires? My truck is year: 2005; make: HINO; model: 268; Any suggestions.

You should have your tires inspected, not ask some forum. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Tread depth is what you monitor, and there is no set mileage for when that will happen as each truck and driver will wear at different rates.

Beyond thread depth, you also hae to worry about the age of the tire and the condition of the rubber. Again, an inspection is the only way to find these issues.
