Turn over and crank mean the same thing but i know what you meant. If the dash isn't lighting up, then you need to check the ignition switch and the fusible link that supplies it.

You have made absolutely no sense whatsoever. What is a like bar? Its a truck, not a facebook page. If a truck turns over, then it IS cranking. Cranking is an engine turning over by the starter. Also, what is a 3.2/5.0 motor? I'll bet you have a 302 in it since the 3.2 didn't exist in 88.

Please get your facts straight and tell us what is happening so we can help you. Did you just put in the motor? Auto or 5speed? What is your fuel pressure reading? Do you have spark? Do you have injector pulse? Did you buy the truck this way or have you had it for a while?

Not sure how to read this thread? Older Fords used a relay for fuel pump which should be underhood. A universal one as the origs don't fit each other is available.

If original it should have a green skirt to the relay. VERY common problem. Just know the bail to remove those is PUSH not lift. Not expensive and too common. Carry a spare universal with you at this age because 1-2-3 you are walking just like that,
