I have a 91 Ford 5.0 that will not fire. Have power to the coil, have changed the module on the distributor and the coil. We even took a distributor from a running engine and installed. Still no fire. We do not have a dianostic device just information from a manual. We did check to see if this year had a crank sensor and we have not found one. your assistance would be helpful........ Thanks, John johnt49@verizon.net

For the moment just wonder how you are checking for "spark?" The 5.0 is a pretty straight forward engine. Modules are common and pickup coil inside is rare to me but possible. You can get a salvage yard whole dist for peanuts here at least. It would be a first for me but the pick up coil is suspect. hard to do with with an older distributor as a roll pin is involved and the important sleave is a pest to get off shaft without breaking it A maybee for the prob at hand right now T
