Is this noise something that seems to happen over bumps or could it be responding to throttle position? . . . . . . . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

What I'm trying to find out is what triggers it. Is it hitting bumps, accelerating, braking, etc? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Justin; I can't feel a thing. If the CV boot has a hole or tear in it, that needs to be addressed. Whether that's the cause, we obviously don't know. Ball joints can make a 'clunk' noise going over bumps. U-joints and CV joints can cause a 'vibration'. Look for worn chassis mounts, strut rod bushings, ect. Further visual inspection is going to be needed. Loren SW Washington
