I am looking to buy an s10 for carrying tools, steel beams, a generator and maybe moving furniture,
whould you recommend a 4 cyl or a 6 cyl...a 4 cyl might save me on gas but it might wear out quicker
from hauling wieght as opposed to a 6 cyl that will take more gas but last me longer thus less mechanical
problems and more power.

2.2 L 120 hp (89 kW) I4
4.3 L 165 hp (123 kW) V6

Any comments are welcome.... thanx

Go with the V6. It will likely get about the same gas milage as the 4 but have more power. It will be working less to move the same size truck therefor using less fuel.

get the v6 4.3 the do have problems but theres more power and less strain on the engine to move ur truck which also means you might even get a bit better gas milage, but the extra power is better if u ever go offroad
