Hi everyone, recently bought a 1992 renault t35d campervan, after driving it 90 miles home, parked it up for the night and the next morning the battery was flat, no dash lights or anything. so, charged another battery, put it on, the engine turns over but will not start?? im thinking maybe glow plugs have gone, but can all 4 go at the same time, and would it not start anyway? have sinc tried 3 more batteries on it and flattened each one !! i noticed that on the way home the previous night, the headlights were not as bright as they should be and thought maybe the alternator is faulty, but surely the van should still start with a fresh battery on even if the aternator is goosed ?

Watching without much help from me as I don't know the vehicle nor that good with diesels. There's a serious drain to find and fix if now three batteries can go "flat" as you call it overnight. It may be so strong it overwhelms the alternator and I think glow plugs need some serious power to really glow and that would be why it won't start. Guesses except that the battery shouldn't be going "flat" so fast at all! T
