Does the fender mounted solenoid clack when you attempt to crank the engine?

You replaced the solenoid. Did you get all the wires back in the correct place?

The selonoid was good but one of the bolts holding it on wasnt grounding, on the firewall where one of the two bolts went.had a small crack in it and thats why it wouldnt ground. I welded the crack and put in new bolts and it fired right up. I could not have figured it out without your help.thanks for being there for me.
