I tried driving my truck today and and it takes forever to accelerate up to speed and i can barely get up past 40mph and it takes forever to get that speed. My oil pressure is low also. I changed my oil last month and when i pull the dipstick out i smell gas on it. Im getting ****ty gas millage also. I also smell gas comming out of the exhaust pipe and a little black smoke comming out. Could it be the fuel Regulator or the transmission going. It also idials really hard. I did a tune up on it with a new plugs, wires, fuel filter, etc ... If someone could help me out here that would be good. I just want it to accelerate again at normal. and jsut last me till the end of spring. Thank You Brian (Links removed - not allowed)

Brian, This is over-fueling for sure. Check now that oil isn't too full! A CTS (coolant temp sensor) or the connector to it could leave the engine thinking it's always cold flooding it out. Act fast as the extra fuel is ruining your converters, may over fill and wicked thin out oil and cause major damage! You must get that oil out now and this fixed asap and change oil again if thin. That would easily explain all of what you mentioned - the low oil pressure too. Techs are here that may suggest more but you can't leave it this way at all so don't let getting help from a real shop get in the way. You are risking your engine AND the converters! Nasty big $$ T
