Truck wont start 02 dodge ram 1500 4x4 5.9L 46 re tranny Sign In

So I went to torque down my flexplate bolts bc I heard a rattle coming from my bell housing( just had tyranny rebuilt). I used wrench and stuck it in the outer notches of the flexplate and spun it while trying all bolts down. After I was finished I started the truck and it ran like crap. I checked my crank sensor and it had a big scrape mark running across it so I went and purchased a new crank sensor and replaced it. Still the same problem so I got underneath and started spinning the flexplate while a friend was starting it(don't have any idea why just desperate to get it running) to no avail truck will not even start. I can hear the starter firing and the truck trying to turn over but it won't. Even when it does its for like 2 seconds then dies out. Any ideas on what could be the issue

Doesn't sound like the flex plate is centered properly or it is cracked.

Well in the process of spinning g the flexplate and hitting the ignition my buddy thought I said go when I said no and it caught the Wren h flung it 20 yds and about broke my arm. It left a pretty nice dent in the outer notch on the flexplate

Probably bent it too. Go get a new flex plate before your problems get even bigger.

Which bolts were you torquing down? The converter bolts or flex plate to crankshaft bolts? Did this run fine before you went to torque the flex plate bolts? Any trouble codes stored? If so, what are the numbers?
