Insane Jeep Sign In

Well this makes no difference now but 10 yrs ago my father had a Jeep P.U. I think a 1988. He didn't see a problem but I did, several times. He hardly ever drove it due to health problems. At 55mph the thing would often start shaking like incredibility. I would slow down and it would stop. Not like wheel balance shake, but I think balance could have been somehow the problem. Things would fly off the seats and become projectiles Shocked It was looked at and they found nothing wrong. Bizarre, any ideas?

Re: Insane Jeep Sign In

That's not uncommon at all in Jeeps and the larger tires exaggerate it. They make a steering stabilizer that will reduce that.

Death wobble. Also inspect the front suspension components for loose or worn out parts.
