In theory this would be possible as long as nothing else is driven by that same belt. In reality however, a vehicle that is equipped with power steering that is inoperative is much harder to steer that a vehicle that has manual steering. You also run the risk of further damage in something that could render your steering completely inoperative. It's not something I would recommend trying. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
