It will let you know the state and local laws of the state and county your in. They also go over any maintenance that a renter is responsible for. Fuel, of course, is the renters responsibility.
Eagle Rider also provides motorcycle renters with helmets, but they also have a stock of new ones if you want to buy your own. There is a security deposit that can range from $1000.00 to $3000.00, and the cost of your state mandated liability insurance is included in the rental fee.
You can add on to the insurance with supplemental liability insurance and/or enhanced VIP theft and damage waiver. Make sure to check what your own automotive insurance covers, and more important, what it does not cover.
If Motorcycles are not what your looking for Eagle Rider Tours also offers off road vehicles that the entire family can enjoy. You have your choice of ATV's, dirt bikes, dual sports, Jet Skis, and scooters.
To rent any of the equipment from Eagle Rider you must be at least 21 and have a major credit card and a valid drivers license. The daily rental fee gets you a rental for 24 hours and there are no extra mileage charges involved.
The company does want a security deposit. This can range from $500.00 with damage waiver to $5000.00 if you don't want the damage waiver. The waiver costs about 25.00 per day and will provide you with coverage for damages caused by accidents or collisions and also liability insurance, the amount of which depends on the state your in.
When renting any vehicle or pleasure craft make sure to call in advance and reserve your choice of vehicle. It is not good when your vacation plans are ruined because you didn't reserve just what you wanted.
You can choose a guided tour, or decide to go on your own. The company will help with transportation to and from the airport, hotel and airline transfers and even have a welcome and a farewell dinner for your group.
