The Spadaconcept has its basis from the C6 Chevrolet Corvette. The design of the c6 Chevrolet Corvette was significantly modified to make the Spadaconcept. There were changes made to the body work, engine, suspension and interior designs. This implies that the Spadaconcept could be the descendant of the TZ cars and will be manufactured in a limited edition.
Ercole Spada designed the first TZ cars which have the TZ2 and Alfa TZ. He now heads the company, Spadaconcept since 2006. Ercole Spada was first charged by Elio Zagato who is his good friend who also makes sports cars based on the designs for Ferrari and Maserati.
The Spadaconcept’s engine is also powerful and strong. It has the V8 engine. The engine makes for the Spadaconcept’s great speed especially when it doesn’t have to carry so much weight. It weighs one thousand four hundred kilograms without anyone seating. The Spadaconcept engine is also mounted in front for good balance.
The car has a transmission that is manual and is 6-speed. The Spadaconcept Codatronca TS can also be called a super sports car because it can accelerate in a matter of 3.7 seconds from zero up to one hundred kilometers per hour. This is all made possible because of its weight and low roof. The best speed that the Codatronca can run is about two hundred five miles per hour.
The Codatronca’s body is made from aluminum. The front has a suspension of two independent wishbone for the car’s handling precision. It also has shock absorbers which can be adjusted as well as rear and front bars that prevent rolling.
The brakes and the wheel system of the car are composed of rims for the front wheel which are 18- x 9.5 inches. The rim of the rear wheels are also wider which has a dimension of 19 x 12 inches.
