I've found two fuses for the horn under the hood, both good. All lamps are lighting when they are supposed to. I noticed that the headlights dim when I press the horn. I guess I need a new flasher? What about the horn?

Re: How can it be? Sign In

I have some interesting news. In addition to no horn and fast signals, I noticed that the fast signals only happen when the lights are on. Also, if I'm using cruise control and turn on the turn signal, it cuts the cruise off. All of my bulbs are working.

Assuming a problem with horn, I measured 12.5V at the plug when the steering wheel contact pressed. I then took out each horn to figure out which one or both were bad. Wired directly from the battery, they both work.

I then checked the voltage on EACH of the two pins of the horn plug. 12.5 AND 8.8???? It was dark enough to cause the lights to come on, hence, the weird 8.8V on the return.

Any ideas on this? Starter wiring, again? lol
