This code is for the number 1 cylinder misfiring is there anyone that knows what to check/change first? I just priced the coil and I hope it is not the problem($$$$$). The plug has already been changed. What is next. Is there one common problem that is recurring in this car that I need to know about? Any info? THANKS

Could you not try switching coils around and see whether the misfire follows the coil? Dan. Canadian "EH"

I would start with a compression test. If it's OK then check for spark at the plug. If that checks out fine, try cleanig the injectors with a kit you can obtain through the dealer. Steve

Hey timszr2 Maybe we should do a little research before YOU MAKE A STATEMENT! A 99 ZR2 or a 2002 Blazer are not the same vehicle as a 2002 Trail Blazer. Yes the ZR2 and the Blazer only have the one coil but the Trail Blazer has individual coils my friend. That’s why I suggested switching coils. Dan. 02 Blazer ignition 02 Trail Blazer Canadian "EH"
