I am a great car guy, but I'm embarrassed to say I can't find the spark plugs on my wifes 2004 Chevy Trailblazer. It has the 4.2L 6cyl engine and is 4wd with an auto trans. I have even put it on my lift and can't find them. Can someone please tell me where they are. It has 120000 on the engine and I want to change them.
Thanks

This is a picture of an ignition coil. You will see six of them right up on top of the engine. The spark plugs are under each coil. Be sure to remove the coil and spark plug when the engine is cool so as not to damage the threads in the cylinder head during removal. Be sure to use anti-sieze on the spark plug threads during installation.

Thanks. Do you have a recommendation on plugs. She drives it 60 miles a day to/from work in very light traffic.

You won't go wrong using AC/Delco or Autolite.

I agree Delco is the way to go on this. Anything else you will be changing again long before the 100k rating.
