I have a 1992 Ford Ranger. 4.0 throttle body. has about 100,000 plus miles on it. Won't start. Fuel pump is getting 40 lbs of pressure. Have replaced the fuel pressure regulator, the crankshaft sensor and new spark plugs. It is getting spark. Will crank, but not start. No fuel to the cylanders.

Test for injector pulse using a small bulb called a noid light. If none found, check for power supply at one side of the injector with the key on. Also make absolutely sure that you are getting a strong spark at the plug end of the wires. See if it will run by spraying a little carb cleaner or starting fluid into the intake. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Thank you for responding, there is no fuel rail on that motor for injectors. Have tried all of your other suggestions...still no start.

Those weren't suggestions. Those were tests that I need to hear the results from.

The info i need is the exact info that i asked you to test for. We do this all the time and we know how to isolate the problem but if we don't get accurate test data, then it's all for nothing. If you want to pursue this through your methods, then I wish you luck and I will move on. If you want my help, then you have to do exactly what i ask.

It sounds like you may be assuming it has spark but you need to be sure to test that at the plug end of the wire.

OK, then we move onto the other tests. If everything you have told me so far is true, this should run if you spray starting fluid into the intake.
