1995 Ford Aerostar over heating problem

Hello, I have a
1995 Ford Aerostar 4.0 mileage 130,000
I am having issues of the temp going to hot and blowing out of resevior, then temp goes back down. I have replaced the thermostat, water pump, top and bottom radiator hoses, the radiator cap. At idle it warms up good heat temp normal, start driving is when temp goes up then back down, while it is up is when it blows out of over flow. the temp stays up for less than a minute, then goes back down for a few then repeats. I have flushed it with super clean until it was clear water. I am at my wits end on this. It has proven to be my nemesis, I usually can fix most major and minor mechanical problems, but this has got me stumped.
Any and all help is appreciated

Original radiator? Have theflow checked,

yes it is the original radiator. How do you check the flow?

Warm it up till the engine is at operating temp. Then shut it off. Stick your hand up inside the fan shroud and feel the radiator. Temp of radiator should be pretty consistent top and bottom. Slight difference is normal but with a blocked radiator the temp difference will be obvious. Good luck.

Jed - keys out when checking and watch out for the fan anyway as they can take a finger off or worse,
