I hooked up the batter cables wrong and lost the dome light, radio and clock. I have check fuse boxes under hood and under dash. they are ok. it has been suggested to check the max fuse but this car dose not have any. could it be a relay switch by any chance? thanks Ron

How mdid you check the fuses? Looking at them is not a good test. You either need a test light or a multimeter to properly check the fuses.
