2006 Ford Mustang "lurching" Sign In

Forgive me if this isn't the correct place to ask questions (kindly direct me to a different forum if need be). I have a 2006 Ford Mustang, auto, with approx. 56,000 miles on it. About 3 years ago, I had a fuel sensor replaced (didn't get gas cap on tight enough and it went into lockdown), and later a check engine late came on and that same year I had to completely replace the throttle body system.
Today, I filled the tank with gas. It drove 60 miles, then when I was returning that same 60 miles, it gave about 4 little jerks or lurches for no apparent reason (about 10-15 minutes apart). This were not consecutive or in any pattern, just random little lurches. This MAY have occured when I sped up slightly, but the weather is bad here so I was paying more attention to the icy road conditions than my actual speed changes.
I have NO warning dash lights on, gas cap is on tightly. Times are tight, and my husband is currently deploying so I am a woman and I want to troubleshoot before I go to a repair shop.
ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Difficult to say what that could have been without driving the vehicle and experiencing what your stating in your post. From your description it could be a number of things, but the intermittent nature of it is going to make diagnosing your problem extremely difficult. The problem may have to occur more often in the hopes that it might trigger the PCM's attention.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

You might want to throw some "Heet" into the fuel tank in case you got some bad gas. They also had a lot of problems with the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor on those.
