I have a 95 chevy blazer LS four wheel drive four door 4.3 liter vortec and i have a gas leak. its dripping out pretty good when its running its not coming from the sending unit and i dont think its the lines because someone told me if the lines where leaking that it wont even start because it wont have enough fuel pressure to open the injectors. it was leaking even when the tank was almost empty. I took the fuel tank off today and notice it was wet on top i just dont want to replace the fuel tank and sending unit to then have a problem with the lines. Just wondering if the lines could be bad or if there was just a small hole in the top of the tank

You just going to have to visually locate the leak and determine the source. It has to be either the sending unit of a line in the tank area.

I have a very similar or possibly the same problem. I visually inspected it while it was running, and found that my blazer was leaking fuel right at the fitting that connects the line from the sending unit to the rest of the fuel line. My question is if I can simply replace that fitting if it cannot be tightened, or if I need a new sending unit/fuel line.

This is an old question that belongs to someone else. If you need help with something please start a whole new question of your own.
