I have a 97 chevy blazer, 4.3l engine with right under 200,000 miles on it. I can walk out to my blazer and start it up cold every time and it will run great. But if I leave it sit for about half an hour, it becomes tough to start. I have to crank it forever before it decides to run. It just recently started doing this so the only thing I've tried is some injector cleaner. The check engine light doesnt come on either.

First I would test the fuel pressure , bare min would be 55psi. .Change fuel filter if not done . Would not hurt to have computer scanned for any stored codes. LIFE'S SHORT GO FISH

When you check the pressure, pay attention to what the pressure does when the key is shut off too. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Ok, I changed the fuel filter and also had the fuel pressure checked. The pressure was right where it needed to be so it's not the fuel pump. I had the ignition control control module tested and it was showing one bad circuit. I replaced that but I'm still having the same problems. I had them run a test for any stored codes and the only thing that came up was a bad downstream O2 sensor. Would an O2 sensor create starting problems?

As of yet, haven't seen an O2 sensor cause a no start. When they did the fuel pressure check, did they watch the fuel pressure bleed down rate after the fuel pump turned off? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Yeah they did a thorough check of the pressure since they were thinking that was the problem as well. The fuel pump was actually replaced about 2 years ago and I believe is still under warranty. So I'm kind of leaning away from thinking the problem is the fuel pump.
