Just to give you an idea of what I'm dealing with I'll fill you in on what happened: I was leaving work and rear ended somebody (it just happened to be a person I know.) Her car was completely fine, mine on the other hand was not. I know that I have to replace the headlight panel and two brackets that hold the bumper on. I got a great deal on the headlight panel and headlights (80 bucks at a u-pull it). However, the airbags deployed on impact. I am looking for information regarding the least expensive way to replace the airbags. Does anybody have any information regarding this problem?

The airbags can be a much bigger problem. On top of having to buy the bags themselves, you will likely have to replace the Airbag control module as that works like a black box and shuts down after deployment. That will have to be a new unit and it will require programming.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. MY roommates dad can install them so that will save me a good amount of money. Thanks for the honesty.

No, that's not going to save you much. all the money is in the parts here and the programming that he won't be able to do.
