Hi, just joined up hoping I can get my car back into shape! I am just now starting to get hands on involved with maintaining and fixing problems with my vehicle outside taking it to a shop.
I have a:

93' Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited
v8 5.0 liter engine
about 170000 miles on it.

We bought the car used from a friend back in 2008 and just never had the time or money to get some minor problems fixed, now I inherited it and I want to get these fixed on my own if possible.

First issue I have are the Driver and Passenger Front doors will not lock when I press the auto lock button. The rear doors and the rear hatch lock just fine. I suspect it might have something to do with a motor or fuse connecting those to the auto lock button. No real clue there though.

Also my Passenger seat does not have any response when the seat adjustment switches are engaged, I think I was told it could be a fuse or it could be the entire switch board itself but that was a LONG time ago. Is there a recommended way for testing what is wrong there?

Next issue I have are the cabin lights. They no longer function when I open the doors, nor will they turn on when I am in the cabin. They worked once when I had to slam on the brakes to avoid hitting some deer, but even then it was only for a split second.

As well, my air/ac/heat will only work when set to Hi. This has been the most irritating problem for the longest time. My ac just does not seem to blow as cold as it once did either. Is there a connection between those issues?

Last thing is the material covering the ceiling of the cabin is beginning to droop and has been torn in some spots(currently closed using packing tape and duct tape). Can that just be replaced?

That is everything I can remember right now, I apologize for writing a novel. I hope it was enough detail for anyone reading this.

If you need help from us then you need to ask these questions one at a time. Don't post a laundry list as no one will be able to follow the thread and it will turn into chaos.

I'm going to lock this question so you can start over with just one problem.
