I have a '96 Izusu Trooper that has only recently started leaking some fluid (maybe half a cup) from right side just behind the right front tire. I can't tell that the fluid is water or transmission or what - it appears clear to me, maybe water. I am obviously running the A/C during driving --- any clue what I should do? Apologies in advance for my lack of mechanical knowledge........

Possible and probably only water at that location which is condensate from the A/C but check it (don't taste it) with perhaps a paper (white) and if only water it will just dry. Almost all other fluids have color to them and won't dry out. Condensate is normal and not to worry if that's all it is, T

Thank you SO much, Tom! My budget didn't really need car repair at the moment. But then, you either make a car payment every month or have unexpected maintenance, right?
