You were right about it being an actuator. I have gotten a price from the dealer and it is $165. Do you know if this mirror in the pic has the same actuator?

According to our shop's information source they are not the same actuator. They have different part numbers. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Thanks a lot. Its a big help. I am glad I did not get it. I have made an offer on a full unit on ebay. I'll see what happens.

It comes with the motor attached. I am not quite sure how to disconnect the motor from the frame. If you don't know I can probably figure it out.
