Subaru Skid plate Sign In

I am trying to find a replacement skid plate for a 1999 Subaru Forester. Unfortunately, every search turns up empty; could this part be called something else? The oil-change place forgot to bolt this back on, and it's broken and cannot be fixed. They kept referring to it as a skid plate, but I can't seem to find this anywhere. It's a very large piece of heavy black plastic, maybe 3' X 2' and is supposed to protect the oil assembly from damage from rocks, etc from the road. Can anyone tell me what I should actually be searching for?

Re: Subaru Skid plate Sign In

Parts like that get nick named regionally. It would likely be a dealer item only.

Possible names used: Bash plate, splash shield, mud guard and more........
