Darren; At the base of the wiper arm where it meets the cowl, there is a plastic cover that will pull open to expose a nut that attaches the arm to the wiper transmission pivot. Try tightening that nut. It is possible that the teeth on the pivot have been damaged or the teeth on the arm, but is definitely worth a try tightening, first. If the pivot requires replacement, it's not as bad as you'd think. It just requires removing both wiper arms and the metal cowling. Loren SW Washington

Wolf; Glad to hear it's a simple fix! Pretty common problem, especially in snow country. Very hard on the wipers. Loren SW Washington
