2001 Buick Lesabre Limited 3.8 Liter V6, with about 78,000 miles on it.

when running the air conditioner, the passenger side does get cold, quite quickly. The driver side however, does not get very cold at all, and takes a very long time. My car does have the climate control option. I have not tried anything yet.

Does it have dual temp control?

Yes it does have dual temperature control, as well as vents for the rear passengers.

The temperature is controlled by the use of an air mix door that is operated by an electric motor/actuator. This door can be jammed or the actuator can be inoperative or have stripped plastic gears internally.
