airbag replacement...? Sign In

2004 Dodge Caravan

I recently ran off the road and into the ditch and hit embankment. Minor damage to undercarriage and two flat tires but my two front airbags were enflated. Anway, I am wondering if buying replacement airbags and airbag deploying equipment is advisable or not. I can't afford 2 or 3K to have a company do this and can get the parts fairly reasonable. How tough of a job is this and is this something i should leave to the pros. Any tips or advice you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

I would leave this to a professional. Let your insurance pay for it.

+1 you want to make sure a professional does it so its certain they will deploy the next time you need them. and god forbid you do need them and they dont deploy the professional who did the repair would be held liable
