power steering problem Sign In

My son was driving my Blazer last night and the lights dimmed and the power steering went out. He did manage to drive it home. I just had the heater core changed, I hope that this is not equally expensive to fix. Any ideas? Thank you.

Only connection for this could be a belt problem slipping -- perhaps from antifreeze leaking at it. Refilling cooling system can take a few tries to get all the air out and maybe it's overheating and spraying coolant around. You need to look at that, T
