I have an 04 Nissan Xterra w/4wd. 3.6l v6 i think.
A few months ago my check engine light came on, but the dealer couldn't figure out what the issue was. I change the oil myself every ~4k miles and recently changed my sparkplugs and air filter. About 3 weeks ago, the passenger side window wiper stopped working. It goes about 1/4 of the distance it normally covers, or doesn't go up at all.
Last week when I tried starting my car, it wouldn't start. The cabin light had been on, but when I turned the key the electrical components all died. I tried a second time and the car started immediatly, so I didnt think anything of it. I had no trouble for about 3-4 days, then the car wouldnt start at all. I called AAA and the guy hooked up his tester, the car started right away, and he said that the battery was getting a charge, but was low, so it most likely needed a new battery but the alternator should be ok. I drove down to Autozone, replaced the battery, it started right up and gave me no problems for another 3-4 days again. Now my car wont start again, the cabin light will turn on when I open the door, but as soon as I turn the key everything shuts off and the engine won't turn over. It can't be the battery, as the new one is only 4-5 days old. But other than that, I imagine it could be next to anything. Any help would be great, thank you.

You talk about 3 different problems there. Would you narrow that down to one issue per question please.

What voltage do you read when you can run this thing? About everyone with an automobile should own a battery charger/maintainer which both do the same but "maintainer" is slower. Don't want stuff - no problem, walking if you can is free,
