no heat 95' toyota tercel Sign In

I have a 95' toyotal tercel and no heat is coming out of the vents when i move the slider all the way to the right. All i get is a semi-warm air flow that never warms up even after the engine has been running for 30mins plus. I tried searching for help but cannot find a repair manual or help else ware.

Thanks in advance!

At its age I would test the heater core. Feel the hoses and see how much different the temps feel at the hoses. If one is plenty warm and the other stone cold then I would blame a heater core being plugged and flush it both directions till a good flow is noticed. If junk does come out - flush the whole cooling system. There could be a few other causes but I would start with this,

Hoses in engine compartment. Reason I'm thinking this way is you have some heated coolant getting thru the core as you said and if that is slow slow it can't heat the air the outcoming coolant would be remarkably cool as when normal you would feel different temps but both in and out would still be warm with in being near too hot to touch.

After this there are questions about whether the request control doesn't work or a stuck diverter door or if used a water flow control in the inlet hose which would be under hood also.

Gotta start somewhere,

T
