1989 Toyota Celica GT slips out of 5th gear Sign In
Hi I have a 1989 Toyota Celica GT and it has a tendency to slip out of 5th gear, When I hold it in 5th I can feel it pushing back when I come off the gas and back on it again. It is becoming very annoying having to constantly hold it in 5th, any suggestions? Thanks

Worn out parts in the transmission. It will need to be rebuilt.

I have no idea. That would depend on the extent of the damage which will depend on how long you drove it after the problems started,
