Problems woth transmission peugeot 107 1.4hdi

Hi, I have a problem with gearbox. Generally it's not really precise. In the summer days it's not a big problem. I adjust to that. But in winter and lower temperatures in the morning it has the problem to get in second or third gear. Like there is a barrier that stops it from entering the gear.I noticed that I can't enter first gear until I completely stop. Also I noticed that gears are "smoother" when i change in 2500+ revs. They are also smoother after a longer ride when everything gets warmer I guess. One more thing is that when I go to a car wash it solves my problem for a short period of time. Car is peugeot 107 1.4hdi. I changed the transmission fluid btw and it didn't help. Do you have any idea what could be the problem. Thanks in advance. Best regards.

We have a trans expert that drops in when he has time but since we don't have that vehicle here is the US there may not be much specifics on it.
He may be able to help you with generalities.

Hello, I looked up Transmission type but not familiar with that Trans, we do not have that here in the states. If having a problem when cold and not so much when hot it could be because of a Lazy solenoid or a shift valve that may be hanging up when cold. Gary
