Timing belt for a Volvo s60 Sign In

Need some advice; My 2004 Volvo S60 needs a timing belt, 95k. The mechanic strongly suggested a new belt tensioner, pulley and replace the water plump while it is all apart. Is this a standard procedure, I can see the reason behind it while your in there replace it.

Thanks

For sure I would replace the water pump. In this case you have an interference engine meaning it is critical not to have any type of failure in belt related components so although the tensioners may still be in decent shape, they won't be forever and the cost of failure can be real high so it's a pretty good idea to replace them.

Cool, thanks for reply. Like I said it made sense and I would probability do the same thing if I have a history of being a reliable repair shop.
