An Innovation That Is Music To Motorists' Ears

(NAPSI)-More and more motorists are looking forward to their next road trip because of a no-installation device that sits on top of the dash and lets them play music from their iPod through the car's sound system and make hands-free phone conversations through the car's speakers.

The demand for both iPod and Bluetooth technology in the car is skyrocketing, and consumers want easy ways to use these devices in their vehicles.

This has now become reality with the introduction of Alpine's new eX-10.

Now consumers can easily add both iPod music playback and Bluetooth hands-free operation for cell phones into their vehicles through one simple product.

Popular Devices For In-Car Use

The combination of iPod and Bluetooth capabilities in one plug-and-play unit makes the eX-10 a unique and convenient device. Users no longer have to buy two separate devices to use both their iPod and hands-free Bluetooth services in their vehicle. The eX-10 works with any car's FM radio system and plugs into the car's cigarette lighter. It sits on top of the dashboard and does not require permanent installation.

iPod Playback

For those who can't get enough of their iPod, the eX-10 allows for iPod music to be played through the car's sound system. The iPod's playlists, as well as album art, artist, song and album information are shown on the eX-10's 2.4-inch color display unit.

The included remote control is used to control the iPod and access its music library. For enhanced music playback, the users can choose one of the eX-10's 10 equalizer presets to match their music preference (such as Pop, Rock, Jazz/Blues, or Hip Hop/Rap) for a customized sound experience.

Bluetooth Hands-Free Phone Calls

The eX-10 can control a Bluetooth-enabled phone or device, allowing for a hands-free conversation to be played through the car's speakers. Phone features such as a phonebook list, missedcalls, received calls and dialed calls are accessible through the eX-10 and are displayed on the unit's screen.
