The technology of in-car entertainment never stays the same for too long.

Almost daily, there’s something new on the GPS market or a better, faster way to control are your in-cabin sound system, and this time drivers everywhere are in for another surprise.

Panasonic is not just known for the innovative strides it makes in entertainment electronics: they also makes waves in the field of personal grooming electronics, photographic technology and even have teams dedicated to developing medical gadgets like wireless blood pressure monitors.

Panasonic is certainly one of the market leaders when it comes to auto entertainment gadgetry. Last year they released a slew of new toys all geared towards simplifying in-dash entertainment. Their latest offering is sure to be a massive hit all over the world.

If you’re a fan of high-end technology that offers everything you’ll ever need in your car, then Panasonic’s CN-NW100U should be on your wish list. It’s more than just a cute accessory to highlight your car’s interior: it’s an all-in-one news and entertainment device that makes your driving experience that much more enjoyable and convenient.

The CN-NW100U is the latest in Panasonic’s Strada range, a line of electronic goodies that’s already popular with drivers in Japan and most of Europe.

A problem that many drivers have with GPS systems is that they’re difficult to navigate, the screens are small with poor graphic displays, the map archives are restricted and they’re slow to get going.

At the same time, almost everybody who drives needs a navigation system, especially as more and more people are sent to other cities for business and need to find their way around.

Panasonic’s Strada line combines mobile GPS technology with Bluetooth connectivity and in-car audio and visual entertainment. The CN-NW100U in the range is the answer for all non-technical drivers that need a GPS system to quickly and easily tell them where they are and how to get to where they need to be.

It features a 7-inch touch-screen to make the business of navigation easier, and this navigation is turn-by-turn, which makes it difficult for you to get lost again. You never have to stop again to make a call either – the Bluetooth connectivity allows for hands-free calling without having to take your hands off the wheel.

The CN-NW100U will also provide traffic updates as your drive to help choose the best routes to your destination. As for entertainment, the CN-NW100U features a USB 2.0 connection to play tunes from iPods and flash-discs, as well as visual support for DivX and DVD files.

You could even listen to your favorite satellite radio station via the add-on module available from Panasonic. This is more than a navigation system – it’s an all-around technical upgrade.

The Strada range (“strada” being Italian for “street”) really had revolutionized the way we drive. No more cumbersome fold-away maps, struggling to tune into radio stations or wondering what the traffic is up to on the way to work – the CN-NW100U is all you need to get from A to B.
