'11 sonata starter wont engage...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nd_RIDLC1E My car wouldn't start, diagnosed it was starter not engaging with flywheel.(It spins but doesn't engage). I took apart the starter and found a broken starter lever and bought and replaced it for $14 from my Hyundai dealer. Once i reinstalled it the car started about 1/3 of the time. I figured it needed additional cleaning & greasing so I took it apart again. The lever is still intact and in place. I put it back in again and now the starter just spins not engaging the flywheel. I removed it from the engine and took the above video. any thoughts? Hyundai Sonata 2011 GLS 2.4L 94K miles

Now you know why we don't bother to try to repair starters. Put a reman in it and be done with it. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Someone suggested the starter lever was not the right size because it was shooting forward but not all the way. I found out when I rebuilt it I didn't put in the lever stop(thought it was a piece of the broken starter lever) Put in the lever stop and it worked. T
