You probably left the gas cap loose for the PO455 and the PO420 means you most likely need a new catalytic converter. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Gas cap isnt loose, ive had that code for a while now, have a new gas cap on now from the dealer. Is there a way to check the catalytic converter or do I just replace it and hope?

If it's not the gas cap, then you have a major leak elsewhere in the system and you will need a smoke machine to find it. As for the Converter, there is no good way to test it.
