Hello everyone,

I hope you can help me. The thread on a few of my front wheel bolts (steel not alloy) and nuts is mangled and I would like to replace them all (4 on each wheel). Does anyone know how hard this is to do? Is it 'simply' a case of unscrewing the old and fitting the new, or are the steel bolts of a 1999 Fiesta industrially pressed into the hub?

Many thanks!

They are studs and they are pressed in from the back. All the brakes have to be removed and possibly the hub pressed out of the knuckle.

Thanks for your reply, HammerTime - very helpful. It sounds like something I'll ask a professional to do in that case.
