Hello I have a 2000 dodge neon and, above the odometer it displays 'Door' and if the key is in the ignition the warning chime sounds, but all of the doors are closed. What could be causing this. By the way... if the ignition is on the chime reduces to about once a minute.

Most of the sensors for those things are at the latch itself inside the door. Try spraying WD-40 all around as best you can in where you can and it might correct otherwise you will have to get inside to check it out further, T

Ok, I'll try spraying WD-40 in the morning. But one thing I just noticed if i let it idle in park the display flashes between the mileage and FUSE. Is there any chance this may be a blown fuse because the dome lamp isn't working either (not sure if its just the bulb though)

It may be one in the same for the fix in this. Some cars use a door jam button to turn on dome lights and the latch to sense door ajar as it will light when door is part shut but not completely.... T

Is there any way of known which fuse has blown? I took a look at the interior fuse panel and all seemed to be ok, i'm going to take a look at the panel under the hood after this.

I looked at each fuse panel and didn't see anything that indicated a blown fuse, but then again I'm not really sure how to check for blown fuses. I just looked at each fuse and if i didn't see any black burned marking then i assumed it was good.

Go get yourself a "test light" to check the fuses. It is grounded on one end and the probe touches the metal portion of the fuse. Touch both sides. Light should come on when touched to both sides of fuses. Being way2old is why I need help from younger minds
