I have a 2001 Ford Mustang V-6 that is misfiring on #1 and #5. The car has been jumping for awhile and I cked and one of the cylinders was misfiring, it got alot worse and then it said 2 of them are now misfiring so I parked the car. It has 161,000 miles on it and has had this problem before and I sunk $700 into it and it was the computer that turned out to be the problem but only had one cylinder acting up then. The codes that I got on the ck this time was p0301 p0305. Any tips????? Thanks, Kevin

So you still have misfires on one and five? Assuming you have already checked the plugs and wires I would replace the coil since 1 & 5 are on the4 same circuit. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

I will be changing all of that today and tomorrow as I have time. ie plugs, wires, and coil. The trouble shooting guide that Oreilly printed out said something about EGR and PCV hoses also as possiable problems, are those hard to ck? Thanks
